When The Trumpet Sounds

There is a phrase commonly used in Israel (among the Jews). It is used to express hope and comfort (Ha Tiqvah, meaning “The hope of Israel”). The Israelites or the Jews say it to one another when situation turns sour, takes a turn for the worse, when the country is threatened with war, or when some unbearable circumstance come their way.
It is an expression to comfort and hope; as if to say “The Messiah will come and change all these”. That phrase is in Hebrew Language – “Ha Mashiach ya-boo! “Meaning The Messiah is coming”! In other words, let the Messiah come and put an end to all these!

In the original Hebrew Scriptures, the Almighty Yahweh in strong terms commanded his children to observe a certain festival yearly in the seventh month of the Bible Calendar, which was to serve as a prophetic ordinance signifying WHEN THE TRUMPET SHALL SOUND! This is what he commanded:
“And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying, speak unto the children of Israel saying. in the seventh month, in the first day of the month shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile work therein…” (Lev 23:23-24).

That phrase “ye shall have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets,” was from the original Hebrew language “Sabbath Zikron tiruah” which should be translated “you shall observe a Sabbath (rest) commemorated with, or commemorating the sounding of loud trumpets” The type that splits the ear with piercing sound.
These are the words used in that text in the original Hebrew.
Zikron – A memorable event
Ti’ruah – Acclamation of joy or battle cry
Ruwa – To split the ear with sound, sound an alarm, make a joyful noise, sound of triumph.
With all their definitions, I believe you may, now be able to understand what the all wise Creator had in mind when He commanded His children to observe this ordinance.
He was instituting a prophetic guide-post signifying or pointing to the coming of Yahshua the Messiah, when the great trumpet shall sound.

“For Yahshua Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trumpet of Yahweh: and the dead in the Messiah shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet Yahshua in the air…” (1 thers. 4:16). In another place where Paul was teaching the Corinthians, he also cited this great event that is going to take place in this world, which the Almighty Yahweh, in the Old Testament, commanded His children through all generations to always observe, that is the sounding of the great trumpet.

“Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed “ ,(Cor. 15-52).

The Almighty Yahweh commanded His children to observe this feast every year in the first day of the seventh month (Scriptural month called “Tishrei or Ethanim).

That day is to be a holy day, a Sabbath, no work shall be done on that day, no matter which day of the week it falls on. There shall be a holy convocation on that day; this is what Yahweh commanded.

This divine decree is binding on all true worshippers of Yahweh. The true believers must continue to observe this Divine Order until it is fulfilled at the coming of Yahshua the Messiah to this world the second time, which will be heralded by the sound of the great trumpet.

As long as the trumpet has not sounded, the purpose of this Law has not been fulfilled; therefore the believers are still obligated to observe this commandment, until it is fulfilled at the coming of Yahshua.
“And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they
shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of
heaven to the other”, (Matt. 24:31).

  • It is a memorial: To keep us in remembrance of the greatest trumpet that is going to be blown in history of mankind upon this earth. This event will result to the overthrow of human governments and all human civilization.
  • It signals and heralds the greatest change of government to be experienced by mankind “a divine coup d’état!”
“And in the days of these kings shall the Elohim of heaven set up a kingdom (government) which shall never be destroyed… But it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever,”
    (Dan. 2:44), Read also Dan. 7:17 – 18, 22, 26 – 27, Rev. 11:15.

Yahshua the Messiah is coming to take over the government of this world from those that rule this world, including Satan and his agents that control it. They will not be willing to relinquish the power or allow Him take over the government of this world. Hence, it will result to a violent change, as Satan himself will be arrested, bound and thrown into the bottomless pit, so that he will deceive the nations no more.                       “And I saw an Angel “                                                                                                                                                                                         “And he laid hold on the Dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years” (Rev. 20:1-3).
This event, which I refer to as the greatest coup d’état is what this Feast of Trumpet is pointing to. It will be a time of rejoicing, making a joyful noise and sounds of triumph for the believers that have overcome sin, Satan and this world. But it is going to be a time of sorrow and agony for the sinners and the deceived ones.
Don’t forget that blowing of trumpet is used to announce overthrow of government even in the Scripture (2 Sam 20:1-2, 1 Kings 1:32 – 34, 2 Kings 9:11-13).
There is going to be a change of the government of this world by the incoming millennial government of Yashua the Messiah, otherwise known as the 1,000 year reign of the Messiah. This change is not going to be smooth and peaceful – it is going to be violent! See Rev. 19:11-21.
This overthrow of human government was prophesied years ago from the beginning of man’s civilization by Enoch, the seventh from Adam, saying; “Behold, Yahweh cometh with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment upon all…” (Jude verse 14-16). Later, in Lev. 23:23-25, a decree was passed by the Creator Himself, demanding a remembrance and commemoration of that memorable event in human history.
It is very important that we observe this feast of trumpet every year at the proper time stipulated by the Almighty Yahweh Himself.
This is to enable us keep a fresh in our mind that:
1. Yahshua the Messiah is coming back again to this word- to reign as the king of kings.

  1. To gather the elects from the four corners of the earth- ( 24:13)
  2. To gather the outcast of Israel, (Isa 27:13)
  3. To make war against the forces of evil that are destroying this world,    (Zech. 14:1-9)
This is the day in which all the righteous people that died from Adam to that very moment shall resurrect back to life with immortal body, together with those who are alive at the coming of Yahshua the Messiah, who also will be changed to put on immortality to reign with the Messiah right unto eternity.
Yahshua summed it all by saying, “What I say to you, I say to all, watch!            (Mark 13:37)
When the Son of man will come to this earth, the whole world will know. It will not be a secret because it will be announced by the sounding of the Great Trumpet of Yahweh. The sound of this trumpet of Yahweh will call up the dead to resurrection- being the first resurrection, ( 20:6). It will also call the elects together from the four corner of the earth.
Yahshua said “… For the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice and shall come forth: they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life: and they that have done evil, unto resurrection of damnation”, (John 5:28-29).

It will be a great tragedy for anyone to miss the first resurrection – when the trumpet sounds. Anyone who does not want to miss this first resurrection of being changed to put on immorality at the coming of the Messiah when the trumpet sounds has only one guarantee. He must submit his or her life to Yahshua the Messiah.
When you give your life to Him, when you surrender your life to Him, it ceases to be yours. He will come into your life. He will change your life and make you a NEW CREATURE (2Cor. 5:17). You’ll start to live a NEW LIFE IN the Messiah, being prepared for His coming.
Why not now? Don’t delay because THE TRUMPET will soon sound and the judgment will sit (MZ).
